If your Pennsylvania deposit is late

  1. Confirm the date. Benefits post at the start of your scheduled day, not at a set hour; check after midnight, and remember Pennsylvania pays over the first 10 business days of the month.
  2. Check the balance the official way. Use the number on the back of your card (1-888-EBT-PENN (1-888-328-7366)), your state's EBT portal or the ebtEDGE / ConnectEBT app, never a third-party site.
  3. Look for a pending notice. A recertification, interim report or verification request that was not returned stops the deposit until it is processed.
  4. Check for a statewide or federal delay on our delays page and the agency site.
  5. Call the SNAP office. Pennsylvania SNAP: 800-692-7462 · agency website.
